These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of AfterHours AI, operated by Thingstrade LLC ("we"). By creating an account, you accept these Terms.

1. The service

AfterHours AI is an AI-powered receptionist that answers business calls outside working hours through a Twilio number connected to your account, generates transcripts and summaries, and notifies your team.

2. Your account

You are responsible for keeping your credentials confidential and for all activity that occurs under your account and organization. You must provide accurate information when registering.

3. Plans and billing

Plans are billed monthly through Stripe.
No long-term contracts: you can change plans or cancel anytime from the dashboard.
Calls or usage exceeding your plan's included amount are billed at your plan's overage rate.
Cancellations take effect at the end of the current billing period; no partial refunds except where required by law.

4. Acceptable use

You may not use the service for illegal activities, to record calls without complying with applicable consent laws, or to send unsolicited communications (spam) through the service's messaging features.

5. Call recording compliance

You are solely responsible for complying with the call recording and data protection laws of your jurisdiction and your customers', including any required consent notice.

6. Service availability

We make reasonable efforts to keep the service available, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted operation. We depend on third-party providers (Twilio, Supabase, Stripe) whose availability is outside our direct control.

7. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Thingstrade LLC will not be liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from use of the service, including calls missed or mishandled by the AI.

8. Termination

You may cancel your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms.

9. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms. We will post the last updated date at the top of this page.

10. Governing law
